January 2012:
Koala Lou is in our classroom right now!
She is sitting on a branch on the plant in our classroom (see the picture.) We are about to go to Library with Mrs Brown. We go to Library once a week and are allowed to borrow one book each visit. We like to borrow Non-Fiction books about: Guinness World Records, Dinosaurs (with 3D glasses), Sports Books, Ripley's Believe It or Not and Winter Books. Sometimes we like to borrow chapter books, fairy books (girls only) and Magic Tree House books.
After Library, we went to Music with Mrs Norton. In Music class we learn and sing songs, we sometimes use instruments and today we watched an orchestra play Lady Gaga's song "Poker Face" on YouTube.
Last week we had TWO SNOW DAYS!! This means that we had two days off school because it was snowing SO HARD we weren't allowed to come to school! It is dangerous on the roads, there were 3 car crashes. So, we got to stay at home! At home we did things like: playing in the snow all day, we went to Boys and Girls Club and we had pyjama day, played Wii, went to Kelly's (Kelly is a babysitter for Erin, Alex, Hannah and Maxwell) and played in the snow on the BIG hill, went sliding (Sliding is sitting on a sled and going down a snow hill really fast) SNOW DAYS ARE AWESOME!
Tuesday 28 February, 2012: This whole week at our school is "Winter Carnival Week" There are special activities on each day of this week. Yesterday was "Super Hero day" and we could dress up as a super-hero or someone we want to be when we grow up. Erin dressed up as a chef. Breea dressed up as a Vet. Keegan dressed up as Superman. Christina dressed up as a Safari Girl. Hannah dressed up as Mario. There were other kids who dressed up too!

(Totally) CraZy HaiR dAy!
Today was Crazy Hair Day!!! Also, we had outdoor activities with the whole school (K-5) for an hour. We were really lucky because it snowed a lot on the weekend and also some more last night, so there was lots of good, fresh snow for us to play in! For a whole hour, we could choose to play between: obstacle course, tug-of-war, snow building, snow soccer, parachute, mountain climbing, hockey or sliding. ALEX, Feb 8, 2012: I was watching the Superbowl. The teams were New York Giants vs New England Patriots. The Giants won. Me, dad and Koala Lou were cheering for the Patriots. Abby (Alex's sister) was cheering for the Giants...... BOOOOOOOOO! I know why the Patriots lost because Tom Brady is so slow! I almost went to the Giants side! I will show you a picture of Abby and then a photo of me.

HANNAH, Feb 13, 2012: I went to the Superstore to get groceries and went to Dairy Queen with Koala Lou. She sat in the grocery cart. I love going shopping with Koala Lou. She slept beside me. We went to my brother Nathan's Hockey in Grand Bay. And we ate supper together. We went to Tim Horton's together.
EVAN, Feb 16, 2012:SNOWBOARDING WITH KOALA LOU.
I went snowboarding with Koala Lou. We went on my front lawn. We had a lot of fun. It was awesome and amazing.
TAYLOR, Feb 20, 2012:Me and Koala Lou went for a drive to get breakfast. We went to a Buffet! I had some fruit and I had dessert for breakfast and I had jello with cream on it. I had an omelette, it was so good. I saw my grampa and grama! We had a lot of fun!
ERIN, Feb 24, 2012: Yahoo! Me and Koala Lou went to my dance class. This is me and my friend Emma. My teacher's name is Kelly Parks. The people in my dance class are named, Clare, 2 x Mackenzie, Mardie-Pierre, Emma, Marick and Nicole and me. It was a lot of fun.
MAXWELL, Feb 27, 2012: I went to a UNB game and I went to Alex's Birthday Party. UNB won both their games on Friday and Saturday. It also snowed 30cm and I built a snow tunnel in my front yard. I played a hockey game with my team The Senators and we won.
BREEA, Feb 29, 2012: Me and Koala Lou are watching a show called 'The Cat in the Hat' It's really fun. Koala Lou likes that show. She is having a lot of fun watching TV she lovessss it! Now we are watching roll play. Koala Lou likes that show too. We're watching Angelina Ballerina. Koala Lou pretty much likes every show! I love Koala Lou! Koalas are my favourite next to dogs.
ZACHORY, March 15, 2012: Me and Koala Lou went outside on the hill in my backyard and went sledding. Koala Lou met my sister's Koala it's name is Coola. They went down the hill together.
REBEKAH, March 22, 2012: This is me and Hannah and Koala Lou rocking out with Toby's guitar.
Then we went for a walk to Dairy Queen. It was fun.
KEEGAN, March 26, 2012: The Koala and I had a great weekend together.
It was cold out so I had to dress a little bit warmer.

I made Koala Lou a chair and a bed. Koala Lou loves the chair and bed.
SHANE, March 29th, 2012: Koala Lou and I went out for supper. I was at the Regent Mall.
Koala Lou was in my mother's purse and I had subway.
Koala Lou was happy to get out of my mother's purse.
We went outside and it was snowing!
We went home and Koala Lou looked around our house. She liked our house.

I played with my truck. I played with bubbles. The sun was shining but it was cool. It was 16 degrees but the wind was cool so I had to get my jacket on. PERRY, April 26th 2012:
On my violin lesson Koala Lou watched me playing the violin. Koala Lou liked one of the songs. She liked "Mary had a Little Lamb" Then Koala Lou clapped.
She liked my songs. Then Koala Lou tried to play the violin like me. She played a song called "French Fork Song"
After that Koala Lou joined story time with me, my sister and my mom. She read a book first. The name of the book is "Disney's Wonderful World of Knowledge" She liked the story and finally she said good night to me. LIAM, April 30th 2012:

Then Nick and Tom and Ryan met us and biked to the skate park. Koala Lou slid down the ramp. Then we played tennis. Koala Lou tried holding a racquet.

Last night me and Koala Lou were watching The Avengers. The people in The Avengers were Ironman, Captain America, Hulk and Thor. Me and Koala Lou were laying in my blankie. We went to the Dollar Store and I got two hersheys. I had some ice-cream in a cone bowl. It was so good.
